M Design Interiors Inc. is one of my very favorite interior design firms in Los Angeles. The designers create awe-inspiring room creations with a clever mix of pattern, furniture and art choices. The color combinations and use of pop art wallpaper create a fun and jovial atmosphere in each room.
I've a selected a few of my favorite spaces from their beautiful website at mdesignla.com.....

Winter Whites
Who says you can't wear white after Labor Day? Winter is one of the best reasons to break out the white evening dress for the New Year's party! Instead of the usual holiday red and green, or blue, try indulging in winter's natural hue, white.

Killer Shoes
After a long delay and piles of work, I'm back to update A Daily Dose of Design. At the moment I'm obsessed with killer shoes, basically anything too dangerous to walk in but look so fabulous!!

Florence Broadhurst
Spring is finally here and it's a great time to break out the bright colors. Florence Broadhurst was one of the great wallpaper and textile designers, she even did the wallpaper for Studio 54! Thanks to Signature Prints in Australia, her prints are back in production. I've linked a few lovely finds of different ways these fantastic prints and patterns can be incorporated into your decor as well!! Also, check out her book "Florence Broadhurst, Her Secret & Extraordinary Lives" by Chronicle Books, a great read to add to your book collection!

Love is in the Air
It's just about that time of year and let's face it, you either love Valentine's Day (if you're in a relationship) or you hate it (if your single). For me, it's just an excuse to put on my red lipstick. In love or not, I've listed a few delights that would make anyone rosy!

Awww The Maldives
Despite the fact that I live in Los Angeles where the weather is generally warm and beautiful all year round, today is cold and gloomy and makes me dream of distant lands, or islands! The Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa would be ideal, but for now I'll just dream.........

Walk the Line
I'm a huge fan of stitch hotel style bedding, elegant crown mouldings, and simple line detailing. Not only does a line or border add classic appeal to fabric or a room, but a sense of ease, a finishing touch in what might otherwise be a chaotic space. I've grabbed a few of my favorite images from Domino Magazine (and one from Restoration Hardware) to show that even in the busiest, most colorful of spaces, that a simple line can bring everything to a balance.
