This outfit rocks!! So many textures, so my colors, I love the blue silk covered by a fantastic tweed coat. Everything about this outfit screams perfection! Despite the fact that I live in Los Angeles where the weather is generally warm and beautiful all year round, today is cold and gloomy and makes me dream of distant lands, or islands! The Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa would be ideal, but for now I'll just dream.........

Walk the Line

I'm a huge fan of stitch hotel style bedding, elegant crown mouldings, and simple line detailing. Not only does a line or border add classic appeal to fabric or a room, but a sense of ease, a finishing touch in what might otherwise be a chaotic space. I've grabbed a few of my favorite images from Domino Magazine (and one from Restoration Hardware) to show that even in the busiest, most colorful of spaces, that a simple line can bring everything to a balance.
